What This Site Does
North Carolina arrest information is spread across custodians. BCSO handles the Bladen County detention path and advertises an app with Inmate Search and Inmate Info. Elizabethtown, Bladenboro, and White Lake Police may hold the first incident or arrest report. The courts hold hearings and dispositions. NCDAC handles state prison, probation, and parole information, while federal agencies hold their own records.
This site puts those source distinctions into plain language. It explains what a booking record may contain, why a photo may not appear online, how to ask BCSO or a city department for releasable material, and why a court disposition must be kept separate from an arrest allegation. No official record is stored here, and no booking photo is rehosted.
What Readers Can Find
The Bladen build is organized around the actual county systems found in the research, including the important gaps in public online access.
- The home page combines booking records, the app-based jail lookup, recent-booking limitations, state and federal fallbacks, court records, retention, and correction paths.
- The Most Wanted Fugitives page explains that no current public BCSO most-wanted list or warrant portal was verified, then points to eCourts, the Clerk, and safe tip channels.
- The Crime News page maps Bladen Journal, BladenOnline, WECT, WWAY, BCSO releases, and unofficial county pages without treating them as a complete roster.
- City pages cover Elizabethtown, Bladenboro, and White Lake, including each municipal police contact and its handoff to BCSO detention.
- The pages describe the NCDAC search, NC SAVAN notifications, court disposition, federal locators, retention schedules, and public-record requests.
What We Cannot Do
This is privately operated and has no connection with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, Bladen County Detention Center, any North Carolina police department, North Carolina courts, NCDAC, or another government agency. It cannot release or transfer a person in custody, post bond, schedule a visit, move money, pull an official booking file, or give legal advice.
- Only BCSO or the responsible police department can confirm current custody and release information.
- Only the records custodian can decide what portion of a booking record or image can be released.
- Only the court and Clerk can supply an official disposition or certified case copy.
- Phone numbers, hours, fees, and web addresses can change, so verify them before traveling or sending a request.
Use the pages for routing. For a current answer, contact the originating office directly and identify the date and record type you need.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some pages include search boxes operated by outside providers. Those providers set their own pricing, terms, results, and data practices. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid signup, a referral fee may be paid to help support this private reference project. That arrangement does not give this site control over the partner’s service, and it does not make an outside result an official Bladen County record.
