Official Bladen Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, schedule visitation, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible agency directly for those answers.

Bladen County Sheriff’s Office

The current Sheriff contact page lists the following routing information. The detention number is the best first call for a current county-custody question. The main office can route a public-records or warrant question. The county directory lists sheriff@bladenco.org and Monday through Friday office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The official app, “Bladen County Sheriff NC,” advertises Inmate Search and Inmate Info. BCSO’s public pages do not document a browser roster, photo rule, or booking-feed timing. Ask the detention center whether the question concerns current custody, a past booking, or a releasable photograph.

Which Office Holds What?

Use the record type to choose the custodian. A city police department may hold an incident report, BCSO may hold county detention material, the Clerk holds official court copies, and NCDAC holds state custody records. The county home page contains the complete lookup path.

  • Booking or jail custody: BCSO Detention at (910) 862-6971, with the main office for routing.
  • Elizabethtown arrest report: Town Police, 805 West Broad Street, (910) 862-3125.
  • Bladenboro arrest report: Bladenboro Police, 306 S. Main Street, (910) 863-3333.
  • White Lake police report: police contact (910) 862-4057, or town routing at (910) 862-4800.
  • Bladen court copy: Clerk at 166 E. Broad Street, Elizabethtown, or (910) 872-7200.
  • State custody: NCDAC public records at (919) 733-2126, not the county jail.

For an arrest that moved from a city department to county detention, two requests may be needed. Name the arresting agency and the requested record so the recipient can route it correctly.

Common Routing Questions

For a booking photo or booking record, use the BCSO records route and ask for releasable portions under North Carolina Chapter 132 and § 132-1.4. No BCSO-specific form, photo fee, or response deadline was published in the research, so ask for the estimate rather than assuming one.

For a possible warrant, use NC eCourts for public case navigation and contact the Clerk for an official answer. The BCSO site does not provide a public warrant portal. For a sentenced state prisoner, use the NCDAC Offender Public Information Search. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator. These systems do not replace one another.

For a current release alert, NC SAVAN provides statewide custody notifications at 1-877-627-2826 and through its official website. It does not publish booking photos and does not cover every police holding or every person released at a magistrate level.
